Son of Einat and Maimon. Born on the 2nd day of Av 5,763 (31.7.2003) in Ra’anana. Brother of Michal, Itamar and Naama. On March 31, 2022, he enlisted in the IDF and served in the Paratroopers Brigade. Staff Sergeant Yair Avitan fell in battle on the 22nd day of Sivan 5,784 (28.6.2024). He was twenty years old. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Ra’anana. He is survived by his parents and three siblings.
