Son of Limor and Abraham. Born on the 12th day of Kislev 5,760 (21.11.1999) in Rosh HaAyin. Brother of Itay. On October 7, 2023, he enlisted in the reserves and served in the infantry. Sergeant First Class (res.) Sagi Idan fell in battle on the 12th day of Shevat 5,784 (22.1.2024). He was twenty-four years old. He was laid to rest in the military section of the Rosh HaAyin cemetery. He is survived by his parents and brother.

בנם של לימור ואברהם. נולד ביום י”ב בסכלו תש”ס (21.11.1999) בראש העין. אח לאיתי. ביום 7.10.2023 התגייס למילואים ושירת בחיל רגלים. רס”ל (במיל’) שגיא עידן נפל בקרב ביום י”ב בשבט תשפ”ד (22.1.2024). בן עשרים וארבע בנופלו. הוא הובא למנוחות בחלקה הצבאית בבית העלמין בראש העין. הותיר אחריו הורים ואח.
